The Paper Cup Company began supporting Green Earth Appeal’s plant a tree scheme in April 2011. Green Earth Appeal has proved to be very popular amongst The Paper Cup Company’s customers. The Paper Cup Company have planted 500 trees to offset the carbon footprint of 500,000 paper cups produced for their customers, through an environmental programme which is operated by Green Earth Appeal.
For just 99p per 1000 cups, the Green Earth Appeal plants a single tree which not only offsets the carbon associated with the production of the paper cups, but also replaces the paper used in the manufacturing process. The Green Earth Appeal’s branding can also be printed on the cups, showing their customers that they are a responsible company.
